Paste the text below into your LOCAL agent chat inside Solo after setup.
This works for different Mac usernames without editing any paths.
Cloud/remote agents cannot directly run this Mac's helper.

---------- COPY BELOW THIS LINE ----------

A physical Solo Button with an RGB status ring is configured on this Mac.
Please report your task state using this local helper:

"$HOME/.local/bin/solo-status" working --ttl 300

Use the appropriate state:

- working: when starting or resuming a task (pulsing cyan).
- attention: just before asking me a question or waiting for input (pulsing amber).
- ready: when the requested task is complete (steady blue).
- error: when a failure blocks further progress (red).
- auto: to clear your override and restore automatic Solo process monitoring.

Examples:
"$HOME/.local/bin/solo-status" attention --ttl 300
"$HOME/.local/bin/solo-status" ready --ttl 300
"$HOME/.local/bin/solo-status" error --ttl 300
"$HOME/.local/bin/solo-status" auto

Explicit statuses expire after five minutes, then automatic status resumes.
Refresh working before expiry during longer tasks when practical, and use working
again after I answer a question. Do not claim a task succeeded if it did not.

If the helper is missing, inaccessible, or fails, continue the actual task without
repeated retries. Do not install software, change settings, or request broader
permissions solely to control the light unless I ask you to.

The ring has one shared status. If other agents are using it, avoid fighting over
the color; agree which active task should own it. These commands only affect the
button light, not the running processes in Solo.
